Highland Park | 37404 Real Estate

Located 1.5 miles from the heart of Chattanooga with borders defined by McCallie Ave to the North, Main St. to the South, Holtzclaw Ave to the West and Willow St to the East, is Highland Park- one of the oldest neighborhoods in town. Tracing its roots back to 1889, it actually used to be its own city! The area has grown to be one of Chattanooga’s largest urban neighborhoods, with an excellent variety of architecture from the 1880s to the 1920s, specifically Queen AnneBungalow, and Craftsman homes. While this neighborhood has such close proximity to downtown, it truly has a neighborhood feel with neighbors who get to know one another. You can rent a ride-share electric bike on Holly St by Tatum Park- a 3 acre green space park in the heart of the neighborhood featuring pavilions, grills, artwork and is the location for several neighborhood events throughout the year including summer concert series in the park, halloween costume contest, family friendly movie nights in the park, ice cream socials and more! Furthermore, walk over to The Spot (a great place to enjoy a panini and our choice for local happy hour), jog over to The Together Cafe (a relaxing place to work, study or fellowship), or zip on over to highland park turf soccer fields. Only a $5 uber ride to Southside or City Center, literally the location is hard to beat. While home prices have risen significantly in the past few years, it is still a great place to invest due to the rapid improvements in the area. This neighborhood is ideal for local professionals, students, and retirees. Its proximity to three local hospitals and University of Chattanooga among numerous other destinations makes this option one you definitely one at which you want to look! By the way, we live here too!
